The Junior Maintenance & Operator Trainee shall be paid a consolidated stipend of Rs. 17,000/- per month during the period of training. On successful completion of training, the candidates will be appointed as Assistant Technician (NE-4) on probation for one (1) year in the Pay Matrix of Rs. 25,600/- to Rs. 81,200/- (Level: NE-(T)-4) with initial Basic Pay of Rs. 25,600/-.
(i) HSC pass from recognized Board or equivalent and National Trade Certificate in Electrician Trade from institution recognized by SCTE&VT / NCVT with minimum 60% marks. For SC, ST and PwBD candidates, the minimum percentage of marks required is 50%. (ii) Workman Permit from Electrical Licensing Board of Odisha (ELBO) is mandatory for the workman to work in OPTCL.
